Rust dyeing

I am testing how to dye fabric with rust. I have a clever husband who is working with metals and he suggested some rusty items. I soaked fabric in water and vinegar, and wrapped it round the rusty iron items. Now I leave them outside waiting for the fabric to rust!

Shopping some new books

I have been searching at Amazon to day and guess…..found several books that I just had to purchase! I will receive them in September. I have to be patient…

Unfinished projects

This is fabric strips fused on muslin. I have couched with yarn. Then I have added painted gas and all sorts of tread and stuff I am not sure what to do with it

I made a note book cover for my sister. The picture on the front is my mother as child.I have used paintstic and acrylic paint on some of the fabrics, some hand stitches as well.
